Holiday Makeup: Bronze & Plum

Holiday Glam: Bronze & Plum

My last makeup look was a darker look with my Winter Green smokey eye, so I wanted to create a look where the eyes are lighter, more natural, and the lips are darker. Holiday looks are some of my favorite to create because there is so much you can do with beautiful holiday colors. I love the combination of Bronze and a dark cranberry for the holidays, so today I thought I'd share with you a look that looks great on everyone. A very neutral, bronzed eye and a dark cran lip!!
I hope you like my Bronze & Beautiful, Dark & Daring Look! Enjoy!

I started off by using a damp beauty blender to press my Kat Von D Lock-it Foundation into my skin. It's a pretty heavy foundation so I didn't ned to conceal today. I still wanted to set my under eyes so I took the banana powder from Anastasia of Beverly hills. I also used ABH's Contour palette to warm of my face; applying the powder in a 3 or B motion from forehead to the temples to cheek bone and finishing up on the jawline.

I didn't want my cheeks to be too vibrant so I stayed in the light pink family. I combined the two lightest shades from Morphe Brushes 9B The Blushed Palette and added a light flush to my cheeks for a more youthful glow. I've been wearing my brows more natural lately and thought more natural brows would look good with his look. I used a mixture of Chella's Auburn and Dazzling Dark Brown Brow Pencil. I started off in the front with auburn and then mixed it lightly into the dark brown. To achieve a light, natural brown I just followed the natural flow (curve) of my brows using a light-feathery stroke technique.

I didn't want to make my eyes harsh, I wanted to keep them bronzed but natural. I didn't add anything to the crease or brow bone in order to keep a more natural look. I took ColourPop's "Cheap Date" on a flat brush and pressed the shadow all over my lid making sure I didn't bring it up into the crease. Next I took ColourPop's "Boy Band," and pressed just a little bit into the outer corner to add a little bit of depth and dimension to the eye. When doing a bronzed eye I like using brown eyeliner to make my eyes pop and not be so harsh. I used E.L.F's Brown Liquid Liner and made a thin line, close to the lash line.

The last thing I did was curl my lashes and coated them using my Tarte Amazonian Clay's Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara. I love a dark lip with a light eye and I love a plum/cranberry lip with a sparkling bronzed eye. I grabbed MAC Cosmetics "Darkside" and did two applications to my lips. I set it all with Urban Decay's Chill Setting Spray.
