Thanksgiving Weekend + November's End

Happy November 30th. We've made it through yet another November and I am quite pleased with how this month has played out. The only shocking part of November ending is we will officially be in our last month of 2015; and to me, that's crazy. How is the year already over? I am really hoping that 2016 slows down and enjoys itself.

Thanksgiving Recap:

We woke up on Thanksgiving Day and spent the morning in the kitchen doing last minute prep on the dish we were bringing to our families thanksgiving dinner. We made my famous Breadbowl Dip - which used to come as a one batch deal until the family asked for more so we now double the batch. (16oz of everything instead of original 8oz).

Ashlee's Breadbowl Dip
16oz Regular Cream Cheese (softened)
16oz Sour Cream
3-4 Green Onions (Chopped)
5-7 Slices of Bacon (Chopped)
16oz  Cooked Ham (Chopped)
1 Jalapeno (Chopped)
16oz Mexican Four-Cheese
Salt and Pepper to Taste

In a Big Bowl:
Mix Sour Cream and Cream Cheese together
Cook Bacon, Remove Greese, Set to the Side
Chop Ham, Onions, and Jalapeno
Throw Chopped Items in Big Bowl of Sour Cream/Cream Cheese
Mix together, add shredded Cheese, Mix again
Place mixture in 1 or 2 Bread Bowls
Bake at 375 for 25-30 minutes.
Top with Salt, Pepper, and More Cheese.
Serve Hot and Enjoy.

Dinner was served at my Father in laws house around 5pm where we enjoyed good food and family. After dinner, SR and I rushed home to gather our things for the busy weekend we had ahead. We dropped off our Pups Crate back at my father in laws house for his weekend sleepover and then SR and I headed on a 3 hour drive to Arizona. We arrived at SR's Grandparents House around midnight and went to sleep soon after.

Race Weekend Recap:
When we woke up it was time to stop by walmart for some drinks and snacks before we hurried off to the race track. My SR races every Thanksgiving weekend and he needed to get out the Modified and prepare it for Friday Nights race. Friday's Race ended up being pretty eventful and scary. My SR got in a bad accident where he hit the wall, 2 cars, and caught air. It was a pretty violent wreck. and you can only imagine what was going through my anxious head at this given time. Luckily my SR was alright, although the car wasn't. We thought our race weekend was over so we enjoyed the rest of the evening watching the other races before we headed back to the hotel. The next morning SR and the guys decided to work their tails off and get the Modified fixed and ready to race again. And So, Saturday, was Race Day #2 of the weekend, which went super well considering the car shouldn't have even been running after the accident. Sunday Morning we woke up and headed back home. It was a long weekend to say the least and I'm just so very Thankful my SR is already, even though he is really sore from impact.

Goodbye November:
It's funny to read my November Goals which were all about getting our house packed up and ready for the move. I didn't know if we would be in our new home before thanksgiving but here I am, sitting in my new home for going on the 2nd week and I couldn't be happier!
November was a busy month and I am looking forward to December so that I can, hopefully, relax and enjoy friends and family. I'm proud of all I accomplished in November. And I can't wait to see what December Brings. Until 2016, My Sweet November.
