Drugstore Makeup: Every Day Look

I have to admit, I am a total sucker for light and more natural makeup that takes little to no effort. I love being able to pull out my favorite products from the Drugstore and do my makeup in 5-7 minutes. About 4-5 years ago I had my makeup routine down to a science and I could achieve my desired look in 5 minutes or less. My makeup routine has gotten more elaborate over the last 2-3 years but I'm in a weird makeup transition of slowing getting back to a more natural, less makeup look.

Today I am going to share my Every Day Makeup Look using all Drugstore products::

DrugStore: Every Day Makeup Look

I have to admit, I was nervous to try out the Better Skin Foundation because my Go-to drugstore foundation is Maybelline's FIT ME. When I get a new foundation I like to use different tools to see what applies the best and I found that the Beauty Blender works best. SuperStay is a full coverage foundation that lasts all day long and doesn't crease. It dries matte and almost powder like which I love because I don't need to set it. I use one pump and I find that it covers my full face once I've blended it out with the damp beauty blender. These two products have become my new favorite combination.

If you love Urban Decay's Naked Skin Weightless Concealer then Maybelline's Better Skin is just for you. It's a dupe of UD's Concealer and totally affordable. I love how light weight this concealer is and the very creamy, easy to blend formula. I also love using this concealer on "No Makeup" Days just to cover up my dark circles and blemishes. I dab a little bit of concealer under my eyes and then on any blemishes I have. I use the damp beauty blender and press the product into my skin until smooth and blended.

My absolute favorite crease color to use from the drugstore is Bella Caffe from the Bella Eye collection from Milani. It's a beautiful neutral brown color with just a little shimmer but not enough to look weird in the crease. I just use a big fluffy brush and blend this color using windshield motion's from outer to inner in the crease. I usually do this about 3 times, just to get that desired color.

The Merci Beaucoup Palette has shimmer and matte in it which I absolutely love. I love mixing the bronze shadow and pinkish beige shadows together on a flat brush. I lightly tap this shadow all over my lid, lightly blending up to the crease. On a  small pencil brush I grab ahold of the chocolate brown color and lightly blend into my outer V of my eye, just giving my eye some depth and dimension.

When I am not drooling over my gel eye liner by maybelline, I am drooling over my Gel eye liner my Camera Ready. I recently tried out 'Black Out' by Camera Ready and I was hooked. This gel liner is so smooth and easy to work with, which I love in a liner. I like to press this liner as close to the lash line as possible and then lightly flick outwards to create a small wing on the end.

My Secret to big full lashes is Physicians Formula Mascara. Although this brand is on the more "pricy" side of the drugstore, I find that it's totally worth the money because their products are amazing. I love using this Mascara in 2-3 coats on the top lashes, using a more heavy hand on the end lashes towards the outer corner of my eye. I then use one light coat on the bottom lashes just to equal out my eyes.

You can't technically buy Chella at the drugstore but this has been my Go-To Brow Pencil for a few years now. I cannot get away from this product due to the amazing pigment and creamy formula. I love how universal this product is, I can use it heavily if I want a more full dramatic brow or I can use a light hand when I want my brows to be more natural. Chella's brow pencil glides on easily and doesn't smudge or shift which I love because it's sometimes hard to find a brow pencil that doesn't smear atleast a little.

In the fall I don't like a super bronzed out face because I think that pale skin is gorgeous during the fall and winter months. When I want just a little bit of warmth to the face I grab my Physician's Formula Argan Bronzer. It gives me just a light flush of warmth and it blends so smoothly into my skin. It's not chalky which is what I look for in a bronzer, I hate when bronzers get chunky on the skin. The oil and vitamins in this bronzer also help give my skin that youthful glow, which to me, is beautiful to have in the fall and winter when your skin wants to dry up.

I love dabbing a little bit of light pink cream blush on the apples of my cheeks because it gives me that youthful, fresh look. I then like to set my cream blush and blend up towards my hair line with a light pink powder blush. Flamingo by NYX is my favorite light pink powder blush by NYX, its super pigminted so you don't need much; yet it still gives you that refreshing youthful look.

I have been loving 'Aria' by NYX lately. It's a matte lipstick and yet it applies smoothly and doesn't take many coats. I love the violet, plum color and how it brings out my dark green eyes. I rarely put a lip liner under this lipstick because I don't think its needed. When I do use a lip liner I use "Bloom" by NYX.

and there you have it, my every day makeup look using affordable and drugstore products. I hope you guys enjoy this look and try it out this fall season. It's a simple look that you can achieve in minutes as well as a look that doesn't cover up your natural beauty.

What are some of your favorite products form the drugstore? Are they in your daily routine?
