Septembers End.

And just like that the month is over. September was a quick blink and now we wait 11 months to see it again; The anticipation is already killing me. Don't you love September? I know I do. But, not as much as I love October, which I cannot wait to embrace tomorrow. In my September Goal's post I said:

"I love September.
It's like that empty tea mug right before you pour your boiling water in it. You visualize how beautiful that cup is going to be here in a few minutes, full of your favorite tea and how it makes you feel warm and fuzzy when you take that first sip; how content and relaxed you're about to feel as your cold hands are wrapped around that hot mug. Ahhh, I love knowing what that empty mug is about to bring. Don't you?"

And now I feel like that empty mug is just about to get full of my favorite, hot, freshly brewed, tea. October is the most refreshing month for me. It's absolutely my favorite part of the fall season; and I'm not talking about just for the Pumpkin Spice Latte's (even though those do help the months greatness). Before we get into October, I am soaking in the last day of September as I reflect back on the month, both Good and Bad, and am thinking about the goals I had set for myself at the beginning of the month.

When I wrote my September Goals, the list wasn't long and it wasn't filled with impossible quests. There were a few things I knew I wanted to focus on in the month of September before my "Reflection" month (October) rolled around. You know, because I said October is like my January.

My September Goals were as followed:

[1] Keep Blogging, More Consistantly. CHECK!
[2] Keep working towards a Healthier Life. CHECK!
[3] Remain Dedicated in my Daily Devotionals. CHECK!
[4] No Soda. FAILED 3 TIMES.
[5] Downsize and Organize.  Made Progress.
[6] Pack up More for the Move. Made Progress.

I am pretty pleased with how much I got accomplished in September. I definitely made progress on the larger stuff which in my book is a success because I usually fail doing much larger tasks. We got a more clear time frame on the big move and I now feel like I'm able to really work on Goal #5 and #6. It am getting so excited just thinking about all of the things I get to do to a empty house full of blank walls ready for Speedracer and I to write our memories on.

Tomorrow I will post my October Goals, I am still thinking of a few I'd like to add to the list because when I proof read my original write up I decided that I needed to add more. I'm a perfectionist.

Today I am spending some "Ashlee Time" at the Salon, getting my hair cut and dyed so I am ready to take on October!! Fresh Hair is my favorite Fresh Start. Wouldn't you agree?

How was your September?
