Summer Makeup Must-Haves.

During the summer I make sure that I always have my 5 favorite Must Have products in order to survive those hot summer days when I'm at the beach or lounging outside by the pool with friends.Nobody likes to pile on makeup but it's definitely smart to keep around a few products that won't weigh down your face and will make you look a little more put together. Light weight makeup is essential for the Summer!!

Here are my 5 Must Have Makeup Products for the Summer. Enjoy!

One.  I make sure to always have a Hydrating Mist near by. Not only does it help your makeup from melting off your face during the summer heat, but it helps keep your skin hydrated and refreshed so it doesn't get dry. And if you're like me with naturally dry skin, the last thing you want is the sun to dry your face out even more. That's why I love FIRST AID BEAUTY's VITAMIN HYDRATING MIST.

Two. I love wearing a light weight blush during the summer, whether it be liquid, creme, or just a smooth powder. Finding that perfect flush of pink is important too, makes it seem like your cheeks have that natural youthful color. Colour Pop may just be one of my favorite makeup lines because of the formulas' they use. Their eyeshadow AND blush have a really cool almost liquid like consistency but it's a powder. Everyone who uses color pop shadows and blushes never really know how to explain it but when you use it yourself, you'll understand. It's so light weight and perfect for those hot summer days.

Three.  I love me some different lip combinations. I've been telling myself for the last 2 years to always try more lip products because I tend to make a B-line straight to the same things. Pink Lip stick and chapstick. I can put any color shadow on my eyes but when It comes to my lips I freak out and back away slowly. That's why tinted lip balms are my favorite. especially during summer when I need to keep my lips moisturized but I also want a little bit of color. NYX Butter Lip Balms are my favorite because they are moisturizing, affordable, and I get pick them up at target (without searching a billion stores or online)

Four. I've briefly talked about this before, but, I absolutely cannot stand tinted moisturizers and BB creams. I usually just take my favorite moisturizer and current liquid foundation and mix the two together to make my own tinted moisturizer. I just haven't been able to find a T.M. or BB that I like. It's all too thick and color matching sucks. BUT, I have been lucky enough to find Pacifica's Alight Mult-Mineral BB Cream, in which I can say passes the test. It's been the only one. and I think it's important to either mix up your own or find a tinted moisturizer for the summer. It's light weight and you don't have to worry about your face turning into a cracked cake when you are outside. Win!

Five. If I were stranded on an island, or vacationing on one, and you told me all I could bring was 1 makeup product. I would pick Waterproof Mascara. I love how mascara makes your eye lashes pop and to me that just brings life to your face. (and you could double your mascara wand as a spoolie brush to tame your brows. double win). This summer I am opting for an affordable yet awesome waterproof mascara, My favorite is Maybelline's Volum' Express Colossal Waterproof Mascara.

And there you have it my friends, my 5 essential must haves for keeping it fresh, light, and affordable this summer while I kick it by the pool in this hot San Diego weather. What are your summer makeup must haves? Share in the comments do below.
