My "Go To" Makeup Routine.

My "Go-To" Makeup Routine.
My makeup routine is ever changing depending on the weather and time of year.
But over the years, I have noticed that I have signature look that is my go to when
I'm in a hurry or haven't decided what I want to do that day when it comes to makeup.

one. I start my routine with my favorite moisturizer, Olay's Long Live Moisture. I've
searched for a moisturizer that is light to my skin, doesn't add weight to my foundation,
or feels sticky. When I found this product, I instantly fell in love when I saw that it
was a "Satin Finish" and the best part about this claim is it's totally true. This almost
liquified moisturizer just melts into the skin and finishes light and satiny.

two. After I apply moisturizer, I go in with face primer. Primer ensures that makeup doesn't set into your fine lines and pours, as well as ensures your makeup doesn't budge all day. When I have a little extra time in the morning or a special event I like to use Benefit's Porefessional . This primer is on the expensive side but it truly is one of my favorites. If you don't want to spend the $31 on this product, you can purchase my favorite drugstore dupe, Maybelline's Baby Skin Insta Pore Eraser.

three. I have tried every drugstore foundation to ever be made and the one I am constantly reaching for is from Maybelline's Fit Me! Line. My favorite thing about this line is there are 18 different shades to choose from. This product is light to the skin and a buildable product. There are several ways to apply this foundation, but I found my best results come from a damp beauty blender. I usually reach for my Real Techniques Sponge or Ulta Beauty Blender.  Using a damp beauty blender gives you that flawless, airbrushed finish. It works miracles for my freckled filled face.

four. My dark circles under my eyes are never ending so I am in a constant search for a great concealer. My Go-To concealer from the drugstore is Maybelline's Fit Me! Concealer.  It's a bit on the thicker side when it comes to concealer but it blends out evenly and covers all the imperfections that are needed. When I am going out or an event I like to reach for my Mac ProLong Concealer which is my favorite concealer for my under eyes, base for my eyeshadow, and for carving out my brows.

five. If I'm being honest here, I hate eyebrows. If we didn't like ridiculous without them I'd say lets just not deal with them because they are a pain. Luckily, Anastasia of Beverly Hills is brilliant and has the Dip Brow Pomade. The best way to apply this wax-based but oil free pomade is to use a thin angled liner brush for that fine crisp line. This product has grown to be one of my favorites because it's water proof and doesn't budge from your face when you are in the hot sun all day.

six. I tend to keep my makeup pretty natural when it comes to my every-day look. And during the hot weathered months I don't like to pack on my makeup, especially when it comes to my eyes. I always reach for my BH Cosmetics Neutral Palette  because the colors range from light to dark. All Neutral. I apply the lightest color on my lid and brow bone for a highlight, and then I go in with a soft brown for my crease and transition color. * Transition color is the shadow between your crease and brow bone. If I want more depth to my eyes I will pick up a dark shade of brown and softly blend that into the outer V of my eye.

seven. I have a bucket full of eyeliners that range from pencil, to liquid, to gel. You can always see me reach for my NYX  Super Skinny Marker because it has a easy to apply felt tip. I am a winged eyeliner girl, sometimes I like to keep it thin and natural looking, and sometimes I go all Amy Winehouse on my eyeliner. This particular NYX liner makes it each to keep the line thin or build it into a big bold line.

eight. If the beauty world only had one product, I would hope it would be mascara. Covergirl's Lash Blast Volume will always be the mascara you see me reach for. I am not one to apply false lashes, I wore them way to much in Cheer and Theatre so if I can stay away from them I will. With Covergirl's Lash Blast Mascara, my lashes not only lengthen but receive that fullness that I absolutely love.

nine.  Sometimes, blush and contour is just too much to deal with. That's why I reach for my BH Cosmetics Contour and Blush Palette.  I never do my makeup without grabbing this little guy for some assistance. It has a translucent setting powder (which I also use for a highlight), 2 foundation colors that could also be used for contour, 1 bronzer, and 2 pink blushes. It's my holy grail Palette. I like to use the white powder to set my under eye concealer, the bronzer to warm up my face or give deep structure to my look, and the blushes are so beautiful for any skin tone. I recommend this palette to everyone.

ten. I like to keep my lips natural for the most part, but sometimes a little color never hurts anyone. It's hard for me to find a lip color that I like because the natural color of my lips has a purple-blue undertone to it verses pink like most people tend to have. And then, Bare Minerals came out with their Marvelous Moxie Collection and made the Color "Get Ready." This is my favorite color ever created for Lipstick. It's the perfect shade of pink, with a little bit of nude to it. It's creamy, glides on, and has a satin finish. My kind of lipstick.

And there you have it - my "Go To Makeup Routine" which is jam packed with all of my absolute favorite products. It's a fun, fresh look for the spring that can change with different color lip sticks as well. That's the best part about Neutral eyes - you can pair it with any color lipstick and it will transform your whole look. It's amazing what a little bit of makeup can do!

What is your "Go To Makeup Rountine"? and What are some of your holy grail products??
