Fruit Infused Water (Recipes)

This is going to be my summer of Hydration.
I am making it a point to drink lots of water this summer, especially since San Diego
has decided to have record breaking, high temperatures. #itsgettinghotinhere

I'm going to be honest with you all here, I hate water.  We don't have the best relationship
and I would much rather reach from some sweet tea or an iced coffee. The only water that
I will even think about drinking is Fiji. Which is my absolute fave H20 if I am going
to be drinking some aqua. But, I do know the major health benefits of drinking water
so I force myself to reach for a nice full glass each morning and several times
throughout the day.

One of our Wedding gifts we received was this super awesome Fruit Infusion Pitcher.
We were super excited for it because we have been wanting one and we were excited to use it.

We started off with simple things like Lemon, Lime, and Mint - which is our favorite
because it's super refreshing when you're thirsty or it's hot outside. But then, we began
getting more creative and starting mixing different types of fruits together to get
 delicious infused water.

  • Orange + Lemon + Lime
  • Lemon + Raspberry + Mint
  • Lemon + Cucumber + Mint
  • Blackberry + Cherry + Lime
  • Lemon + Lime + Mint
You can really add, almost anything, to make these delicious, healthy, and detoxifying drinks. I usually let my pitcher of fruit and water sit over night, or at least for a couple hours, so my water has time to get a taste to it. We usually try to drink our infused water within the 5-7 days of making it just to make sure our fruit doesn't begin to soften and make the water taste flat. Yes, Flat water..it happens. And there you have it, my super yummy GO-TO drink for the summer. No Sugar or Fizzy Drinks. Refreshing and Healthy. It's the must better option. Your Skin and Body will Thank You as well.
